Events and Field Trips:

• Field trip to local movie theater 4 times a year includes FREE movie, soda and popcorn.
• Field trip to Skate Factory for roller skating.
• Trip to Advocacy Day in Albany to meet legislators and senators.
• Our “Movement and Music” class performed for 1100 Advocacy Day participants.
• End of the Year picnic for students and families at Greenport Town Park .
• “Flipped Day” allows 8th graders to trade places with the staff for a day.
• In October parents, administrators, teachers, school board members, community members, politicians and business leaders are invited to participate in “Lights On” Afterschool, a national event to spotlight positive activities available during afterschool hours.

Stop by the Hudson Middle School between 3:15 and 4:30 to see first hand the exciting programs offered everyday.  This is a national event that highlights the importance of the availability of safe and healthy activities between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00
